The space in which the essence is born
Five years ago, Windows of the World, together with its partner STMC, initiated the creation of an architectural cluster at the ArchMoscow exhibition, and it grew into a large—scale project “Practicum of the A-Class House”. Today it is a recognized platform for architects, designers and developers working in the segment of premium private housing construction. The project has become not just a series of booths, but an annual search area: every year it gathers leading experts, unites the industry and sets meaningful guidelines for all those who design, build and rethink modern houses.
Jubilee as a point of awareness of the path
In 2025, the project celebrated its fifth anniversary and once again became one of the most notable spaces of Moscow’s jubilee Architecture. The theme of the year was “The Essence”, an architectural metaphor that Sergei Kolchin’s Le Atelier embodied in the image of the temple. The space was divided into several semantic zones: a lecture hall, a “corridor of the way” and an art gallery, where each partner presented not only a stand, but also an artistic statement. This year, the pavilion area has reached 850 m2, the number of partners has grown to 20, and the number of speakers has grown to 100. In five years, the cluster has gone from 75 meters and four participants to a full—fledged architectural city, unified in aesthetics and strong in content.
When glass becomes a reflection
The installation “Reflection of Reflections” in the Practicum gallery has become a metaphor for internal dialogue. The black walls, soft light, reflections, silence and slow—motion rhythm created a meditative atmosphere – a space where you can enter and see not only the image, but also yourself.
We are not talking about form, but about perception. Windows as a border and a connection between the exterior and interior, as a way to look deeper. This is how glass became the voice of silence from which architecture is born.
